There's a reason why you pay

Why do you pay for a design when you want to dictate every single detail of the design yourself?

So she gave me minuscule design details at the beginning, and now she's trying to change every single element of it. The colour scheme I picked had maroon, brown and cream, which fitted closer to the description she gave me. In the last email she changed it to maroon, brown, saturated orange and really light saturated blue. I may have brown, orange and blue put together in the current site design but trust me, those colours do not look right on her design.

But what can you do? Clients are always right. I should give her the PSD and she can do all the rest of it. It pains me to output something so aesthetically wrong in every way.

On another note, about that arm in the previous post, I'm not going to post the face just yet because another gay guy like Xuan would come along and drool all over the computer at him.

Xuan: Holy shit, Ryl-Ryl, is that your boyfrienddd? *taunts* He's a cutie. Very cute, in fact ... (The ellipsis sounds so freaky.)

Me: Take your eyes off him. He's not your next target kk?

Xuan: ...DAMNIT! Foiled again... He's still cute though. Don'ttt denyyy ittt.

Maybe someday when I get my Photographs page up. And I'm still fuming over the hideous design. Grr!

Hint: Blonde and blue eyes. Lol.

Life gone nuts

I decided to change quite a lot of background coding stuff with the new layout, and it's becoming a pain in the arse. I'm trying to keep minimal PHP files around and have the pages stored in databases instead so that I could access them anywhere with Internet. Funny, because for the next four months of summer holidays (Southern Hemisphere) I'd be going nowhere apart from home. And since I'm not going to get around to working on a new administration panel until I finish all the other pages... Life is bad when you have to update with the ugly phpMyAdmin. It has this problem of inserting double entries when I only want one. Dammit, I only want one.

What bothers me the most though, is my mouth. I've been ranting here and there about my mouth for the past week or so; that is, four wisdom teeth plucked out at the same time. My face isn't really swollen anymore but my jaws are still stiff. I have to live on soft or liquid foods for another one or two weeks. I was skinny enough before the surgery and I'm definitely going down the bony track now. Life is sooo nutty without good food. I already gave up on NaNoWriMo due to the lack of food. (I'll continue my novel after I get the normal food back though.)

Along with that, I can't smile properly. I can smile quite fully on the left side of my mouth but it gets stuck halfway on the right. So if I do give one of my original sweet smiles I now get something sly and twisted. A world without Rilla's smile is... *fill in the word*

Feedback first. And then I'll get to work on the rest of the pages.

PHP and CSS should make changing layouts easy right? Unfortunately, it's not the way I do things. I'll proofread all my pages and replace the "obsolete coding" so... Here's launching the new layout in stages.
